2021 Data Demonstrating Our Success

  • 48 transplant evaluations and 31 listed patients

  • VAD team supported a record number of patients this year (17) as a bridge to transplant or for chronic therapy

  • 100th supported patient since the VAD program’s inception

  • 1-year heart transplant survival rate for children <18 years is 100%, compared to the national average of 91.79**
